Notification on date and venue for holding the professional exam for conducting insurance brokerage or insurance agency activities

Candidates who have applied to take the professional exam for conducting insurance brokerage or insurance agency activities are hereby notified that the exam is to take place on Thursday, 17 May 2012, at 18:00 in the Amphitheater A2 (second floor) of the University of Donja Gorica (UDG) in Donja Gorica, Podgorica.

The list of candidates who met the requirements to take the professional exam as set forth by the Rulebook on the Contents and Manner of Taking Professional Exam for Conducting Insurance Brokerage or Insurance Agency Activities will be published on the website of the Insurance Supervision Agency.

Candidates who have applied to take the professional exam for conducting insurance brokerage or insurance agency activities are hereby notified that the exam is to take place on Thursday, 17 May 2012.

The venue and time of holding the professional exam will be published after the deadline for application for the exam (30 April 2012) on the official website of the Insurance Supervision Agency.

Public statement: Assistance of the Insurance Supervision Agency, National Association of Insurers and insurance companies to endangered areas of Montenegro

Insurance Supervision Agency, National Association of Insurers along with insurance companies Lovćen osiguranje AD Podgorica, Delta Generali osiguranje AD Podgorica, Uniqa neživotno osiguranje AD Podgorica, Sava Montenegro AD Podgorica, and Swiss osiguranje AD Podgorica, will assist the areas of Montenegro at risk by paying in the amount of 14,000 euro in order to mitigate consequences of weather conditions that affected Montenegro, in particular the Northern region.
Financial assistance is intended for procurement of fuel for municipalities at risk of Plužine, Šavnik, Andrijevica, and Cetinje.

Announcement: Successful completion of the Twinning Project in Montenegro

Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) and the Ministry of Finance of Montenegro, the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG), the Insurance Supervision Agency, and the Securities Commission today have successfully completed a two-year twining project MN 08 IB FI 01 “Strengthening the Regulatory and Supervisory Capacity of the Financial Regulators”. The Project commenced on 30 November 2009 and the European Union (EU) financed it through “Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance” with the budget of 1,199,966.94 euro. BNB implemented the Project in consortium with the De Nederlandsche Bank and the Bulgarian Financial Supervision Commission.

In accordance with Article 4 of the Rulebook on the Content and the Manner of Taking the Professional Exam for Conducting Insurance Brokerage or Agency Activities (Official Gazette of Montenegro, No 47/09 of 24 July 2009), the next term for applying to and taking the professional exam is May 2012.

Candidates who have applied to take the professional exam for conducting insurance brokerage or insurance agency activities are hereby notified that the exam is to take place in two groups on Monday, 7 November 2011, and so as follows:

The exam is to take place at the premises of the Insurance Supervision Agency, Kralja NIkole 27A/III. All candidates are kindly requested to bring along their identity cards or passports for identification purposes in order to take the exam.

Notification: Border insurance introduced for the Republic of Kosovo

Pursuant to the letter addressed to the Insurance Supervision Agency by the Kosovo Insurance Bureau on 18 October 2011, we hereby notify the citizens of Montenegro that starting from 1 November 2011 vehicles having Montenegrin registration plates must have border insurance entered into for a period of at least 15 days to enter into and to travel on the territory of Kosovo.
